SPONSORSHIP REQUEST
WE ARE NOT REQUESTING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Our needs are only the tools and equipment necessary to accomplish our mission. Our request is based on products having a specific role in the success of our effort.
SPONSORED EQUIPMENT IS UTILIZED BY THE ENTIRE PROYECTO
Sponsored equipment does not become a gift for any individual connected with or not connected with the project. Remember we are a full time exploration project and, barring the seasonal character of weather, are in the field for several months of each year.
EVALUATIONS ARE DISCUSSED EXCLUSIVELY WITH THE INVOLVED PRINCIPALS
Discussions concerning tool/equipment evaluations will only take place between the Proyecto leaders and individual sponsors. No negative "press releases" are allowed by any team member.
EFFORTS ARE MADE TO GIVE POSITIVE MEDIA EXPOSURE TO OUR SPONSORS
Credit is given only if desired by the sponsor, and always in strict compliance with the sponsor's wishes. Obviously we cannot dictate to the media [magazines, TV, or video] that they should include our sponsors, but we can and do wear sponsor apparel and use decals on sponsor products likely to be photographed in use.
WE CREDIT OUR SPONSORS IN ALL SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS AND ARTICLES
Credit is given only if desired by the sponsor, and always in strict compliance with the sponsor's wishes. We are sincerely grateful for our sponsor's assistance and willingness to involve their product in the exploration of the last frontier on this planet.
WE ARE A SMALL, HIGHLY TRAINED, AND COMPATIBLE TEAM
We have no history of "mutiny" or "loose cannons". Team members participate at no small sacrifice in terms of opportunity cost, financial cost, and commitment. All of our efforts are "back-a-bush" in remote areas. We retire to tents at the end of a grueling days work. No condos, bars, or even a town near by. We are completely self-contained, from compressor to medical attention.
WE HAVE ESTABLISHED OURSELVES AS A LEGITIMATE EXPLORATION PROJECT
Even our early critics have had to admit that we are responsible in our efforts to remain safe, efficient, and successful. We are unique in our particular discipline. No one does what we do better.
THE PROYECTO HAS EARNED FOUR WORLD RECORDS
In our effort to explore Zacatón, we have successfully accomplished what no exploration team has done before. Jim Bowden has made more sub-600 foot [sub-183 meter] dives than anyone else on open circuit scuba, and holds the current depth record on mixed gas 925+ feet [282+ meters]. Dr. Ann Kristovich held the women's depth records both on air to 370 feet [113 meters] as well as mixed gas to 554+ feet [169+ meters], and has recently been inducted into the Women Divers Hall of Fame.
